Contracting with SureLC

Prerequisites

Prerequisite: Agent must be fully licensed to be appointed with any carriers. They must have a active Life License, completed all the necessary CE’s, an active E&O with GFI and if you have pending Annuity business to submit, you must have the completed Product Training.

“Just in Time” (JIT) allow agents to get pending writing code that full access to the carrier portal / illustrator / submit application. Agents will have full access for 6 months. If a piece of business isn’t submitted in that timeframe, the writing code will close incomplete and new contracting paperwork would be needed. Once the first piece of business is submitted, the contracting team then completes the rest of the contracting process and Agent’s official code is issued.

At Producer - Agent have not finished the request

At BGA - Appointment is pending with GFI

At Carrier - Appointment is pending with Carrier

Completed - Appointment is “In Good Order”

Agent will get an email that they are approved and appointed before your status moves to “Completed”. Oftentimes Agents need to submit your first piece of business to be moved to “Completed” but Agent still have access to the carrier’s illustrator software.

Each carrier information page has the direct link to the SureLC & Google Form needed for Contracting, carrier portal, contact information, and split request form (Allianz Life & Annuity and Corebridge Final Expense).
